Chris Throckmorton
Chris brings many years of healthcare experience to his role as CEO. Prior to Pivot, Chris served as the CEO of IntegraMed Fertility, the largest Fertility practice network in North America. Prior to that, he was the Group President and Chief Operating Officer of Surgery Partners LLC where he had significant operational and strategic responsibilities, holding lead responsibility for Surgery Partners ASC operations. Surgery Partners IPO’d on the NASDAQ in the fall of 2015. From 1998-2007 Chris worked at HealthSouth Corporation in various operational roles, becoming SVP of Operations for the Outpatient Division. After successfully assisting in the sale of the Outpatient Division to Select Medical Corporation in May 2007, he served as Division President of the West Region overseeing 350+ locations. Beginning in 2009, Chris was Divisional President of the Network Division at Select Medical. During his tenure, he developed and grew a new Worker’s Compensation Specialty Network Product, enabling the company to compete for greater market share in the $80B work comp marketplace.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where he was a John Motley Morehead Scholar. He earned his MBA in Finance from Georgia State University, graduating with honors. Chris is married to his wife Laura and they have five children ranging in ages from 12 to 21. Chris’ interests include spending time with family, golf, tennis and reading, and he and Laura love to travel.

Chief Medical Director, Founder
Lawrence Goren, MD
Dr. Lawrence J. Goren is the founder and Chief Medical Officer of Pivot Onsite Innovations. For the last 30 years, Dr. Goren has developed quality workers’ compensation management programs. For over three decades, he has tailored health promotion services to organizations ranging from construction and manufacturing to services firms, with employee populations from 50 to 10,000. Dr. Goren is a nationally recognized leader in the field of occupational health and is frequently called upon as a leader and presenter at health conferences. He has written numerous articles on health management, and has had the Pivot Onsite occupational health program cited in The Workers Compensation Bureau Quarterly as a model program. He holds the appointment of corporate medical director at a number of major fortune 500/100 corporations.

Medical Director
Mohannad Kusti, MD
Dr. Kusti holds over 10 years of experience in occupational medicine, public health, population health and corporate health and wellness. Dr. Kusti recently completed a tenure with United States Steel Corporation as the Chief Medical Officer. He is passionate about occupational health and corporate medicine. He focuses on education and injury prevention with an emphasis in reducing injuries before they happen. Additionally, Dr. Kusti focuses on treating injuries to their completion while providing the best care, outcomes for recovery, and a safe path to return to work. He is board certified as a Specialist in Occupational Medicine by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and has published articles in scientific journals through NIOSH, West Virginia University (WVU), and the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (JOEM).

Medical Director
John Agee, DO
Dr. Agee holds over 30 years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine and corporate health and wellness. He is a Regional Medical Director and Medical Director of the ArcelorMittal Burns Harbor Indiana Steel Mill. Dr. Agee has a passion for occupational health and corporate medicine and has served as a corporate medical director for over 15 years. He specializes in emergency medicine and was previously the assistant chair of the emergency department at Porter Hospital in Valparaiso, Indiana. He also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of emergency medicine at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Agee is a Certified Medical Review Officer and currently holds active memberships in the following organizations:
- Fellow status of the American College of Emergency Physicians
- Fellow status of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians
- American Osteopathic Association
- Past President of the American College of Emergency Physicians Indiana Chapter

Medical Director
Brian Shinkle, DO
Dr. Shinkle has extensive experience in occupational medicine and healthcare management. He serves as Medical Director at Pivot Onsite Innovations and Pivot Occupational Health and provides medical oversight of occupational health clinical teams at employer based onsite medical clinics throughout the country. Dr. Shinkle is actively licensed to practice medicine in 30 states and provides medical director and consultative services for numerous companies in all areas of industry nationwide, including fortune 500 businesses and government agencies, having served previously as the Maryland government’s State Medical Director. Dr. Shinkle is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Occupational Medicine. He has achieved a number of other certifications including designation as a Civil Surgeon, certification by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners, certification as a Medical Review Officer, credentialing through the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners and obtaining a Certificate in Travel Health™ through the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Vice President of Operations
Scott Goren
Scott Goren is the Vice President of Operations for Pivot Onsite Innovations and Pivot Occupational Health. Scott has been with Pivot Onsite Innovations for over 12 years ago. As the Vice President of Operations, Scott oversees the day-to-day operations of both Onsite Innovations and Occupational Health including account management, client strategy, and clinic implementations. Scott has been instrumental in the development of the account management team and management infrastructure. Scott previously worked in the assurance and consulting practices at KPMG, auditing and advising clients in the financial services industry.
Scott earned his Bachelors of Science in Finance and accounting from Drexel University, graduating with honors. He is a co-founder and co-president of the Friends of Bancroft as well as a Bancroft development committee board member. Scott’s interest include travel, ice hockey, and spending time with his wife, Ehren, his son, Nate, and his dog.

Vice President, Head of Sales
Leif Anderson
Leif Anderson is Vice President, Head of Sales at Pivot Onsite Innovations who works collectively with his dynamic sales team to provide employers onsite occupational health and wellness solutions throughout the United States. Leif has achieved many successes with well-established companies such as U.S. HealthWorks, Concentra, and UPS to name a few.
After spending more than 15 years in Occupational Health with various enterprises, Leif understands how to drive business strategically and efficiently through multiple industry channels. He utilizes a sales marketing plan while working closely with clients and his team to ensure ideal solutions are being offered.
Leif holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. When not working you will probably find him at the gym, playing golf, traveling, or spending quality time with his amazing wife and being pulled around by their two adorable huskies.

VP of Business Development
Paul Goren
Paul Goren is the Director of Business Development for Pivot Onsite Innovations and serves in a corporate leadership role. Paul started his career in a sales and development role for Wells Fargo, before joining Onsite Innovations in 2005 as one first five employees in a hybrid sales and operations role. Paul was instrumental in the growth of the company from 5 employees to 500 employees.
Paul understands the importance of relationships in a service model. He also understands that opportunities arise based on our winning performance at both the site and corporate level. Paul’s focus is on developing relationships and understanding the needs of new clients or new sites within an existing corporate infrastructure, and making sure that they will successfully integrate into our service model. In 2010, Paul developed and was responsible for launching the Onsite construction division. Paul continues to play an integral part in the construction division, based on his relationships with some of the largest general contractors, insurance brokers, and developers worldwide. Paul has been instrumental in Onsite’s growth from day one through his relationships with several large fortune 500/1000 companies.
Paul is a graduate of Widener University. He enjoys giving back to his community and is passionate about charity and non-profit organizations, which is a core value of his. Paul is involved with Bancroft, a non-profit provider of specialized services for individuals with brain injuries, autism, and intellectual disabilities in Mt Laurel, NJ. He is one of the Founders/Chair members of the Friends of Bancroft and a Bancroft development committee member. Paul is also involved with the Papermill Playhouse in Milburn, NJ, where he serves as board liaison. Paul started playing ice hockey at the age of five and grew up playing the sport. He has a passion for all sports and loves to travel and spend most of his time with his family, friends, and dog Dakota.
